Citrus Utilities

 


Citrus Utilities is a group of Citrusware Applets which perform simple yet valuable tasks.

If you have purchased Citrus Invoicer, Citrus Proposal, Citrus Dispatcher or Citrus Dispatch Center, you can Add-on Citrus Utilities.
DO NOT purchase Citrus Utilities if you have not purchased Citrus Invoicer, Citrus Proposal, Citrus Dispatcher or Citrus Dispatch Center.

Citrus Utilities is packaged with full Citrusware Suites but not with "Lite" versions.
DO NOT purchase Citrus Utilities if you have purchased a full Citrusware Suite.

Citrus Utilities contains the following Applets:

  • Citrus Inventory
  • Citrus Label Center
  • Citrus Mass Mailer
  • Citrus Shipping Labels
  • Citrus Deposit Creator

Citrus Inventory manages your inventory items. 
If you use Citrus Invoicer, you have inventoried items.
When you create an invoice, items sold are decremented from your inventory.
You can manage your inventory via Citrus Invoicer, but Citrus Inventory gives you more control and flexibility and ease of operation.
Here are some routines Citrus Inventory provides which are not part of Citrus Invoicer:

  •  Create Purchase Orders (or just to add items to inventory counts)
    You can create a PO for all items low in inventory or select individually
  • Create Pick lists to restock repair vehicles or prep for a project
  • Restock Items, items picked for a project or vehicle restocking which were not used, can be restocked (added back to inventory)
  • Create Inventory Count Sheets (used when performing a physical inventory)
  • Create Price Books
  • Create Truck Compliment Lists (what a Repair or Install Truck must have on hand)
    (used to verify and re-stock a vehicle)

Citrus Label Center prints mailing labels for attachment to envelopes.
You can print a sheet of your Business Address labels, 3 X 10 per page.
Customer, Vendor, Employee or any other Address (General) can print any number of labels.
Customer labels can be printed in a mail out set (one customer and one return label), and an additional business label for a return envelope.

Citrus Mass Mailer prints "Mail out" post cards to your customers.
You can create general messages and save them as templates for later use.
You can select as many customers as you wish and select them by different criteria.
Messages can contain KEYWORDS which will be replaced when the body of the message prints.

KEYWORDS (any message)

  • %TODAY - Will be replaced with the today's date.
  • %TEL - will be replaced by your Company Business Telephone Number.

Using Mass Mailer with Citrus Contract Services Program

If you own Citrusware's Contract Services Scheduling application, you can create a template that will search the account service file and insert the Day, Time and Date for the next service event.
Accounts are located using a start date and end date calendar.
(For example, all accounts to be serviced next month).

KEYWORDS (Contract Services application only)

  • %DATE - Will be replaced with the the accounts next scheduled service date.
  • %TIME - will be replaced by the selected service time if established.
  • %DAY - Will be replaced by the weekday of the next scheduled service event.

A Template might look like this:
Your next Scheduled Service will be performed
on %DAY , %DATE at %TIME.
Please call us at %TEL if rescheduling is required.
(Note Capitol letters in KEYWORDS)
Each individual card will be modified with unique account data.

Citrus Shipping Labels prints from 1 to 100 labels for attachment to outgoing cartons.
The program uses Avery 2" x 4" Shipping Labels (#8163) or equivalent. (Ten to a page).
You can select the Shipping Info from a Completed Invoice or from your Customer file.
Each label contains:

  •  Your Business Address
  • Your customer Ship to Address or Business Address
    Carton Number (such as 1 of 7)
  •  Carton weight (fill-in manually after the labels print)

Citrus Deposit Creator prints a Deposit Ticket using Deluxe Form 80200. As you receive payments from your customers, you enter the customer check number and amount. All payments are recorded and the finalized document prints a tear-off Deposit ticket and a Sales Report.
