Depending on your business, service dispatching can be accomplished in one of two ways;
Date and Time (Citrus Dispatcher) or Service Dispatch Board (Citrus Dispatch Center).
- The Date and Time Method -When a request for service is received,
an electronic service slip is created.
It is assigned to a technician by date and time.
A repair time duration (such as 2 hours) is entered.
This method may require the dispatcher/scheduler to have
some knowledge of the nature of the work to be performed.
The caller is informed of the scheduled date and time.
Citrus Dispatcher is designed for Contracting Companies such as HVAC, Plumbers, Electricians, Yard Maintenance Companies, Pool Cleaning Services, Specialty Contractors, etc.
Any company where a service technician responds to a request for service.

Citrus Dispatcher is also part of Citrus Service Manager Suite and Citrus Recurring Services Suite.
- Service Dispatch Board Method -When a request for service is received, an electronic service slip is created. It is posted to a dispatching board.
When a technician calls, the dispatcher assigns a service slip to him/her from those entered on the dispatch board. The slip in marked as "In Progress".
Either the dispatcher or the technician can call the customer.

Citrus Recurring Services - is a specialty program designed to Schedule and Reschedule (automatically) recurring services.
(Examples would be a semi-annual cleaning or inspection; weekly or monthly pool cleaning, etc).
It is sold as a Suite Only.
